Our Bottling Plant
Facilities
The DIONI water bottling facilities are located on a privately owned 38,000 m² estate and include 2,500 m² of building infrastructure.
At the center of this estate lies the spring, safeguarded from both surface and underground contaminants.
Dioni water is bottled directly at the spring
The bottling facilities are among the most advanced in Europe. From the water intake point, the water is transported through stainless steel pipelines to state-of-the-art bottling machines installed right next to the spring.
The bottling process is fully automated, with no human intervention during the critical stages of bottle disinfection, water filling, and capping.
Every stage of the production process is strictly controlled, and this is ensured through the extensive quality control procedures in place.
More specifically, we conduct over 420 quality checks every eight hours on the bottling network, the spring water, the packaging materials, and the final product.
All these checks are performed in-house, within our factory’s fully equipped and expertly staffed chemistry and microbiology laboratory.
The reliability of our analyses is independently verified every six months by Public Health England.
The high quality of our product is also certified through numerous chemical and microbiological analyses conducted by accredited laboratories in Greece, including the Department of Public Health at the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and the Institute of Geological and Mineral Research (IGME).
The checks and procedures in place ensure that DIONI water reaches the consumer within just a few hours, maintaining the same composition and purity it had at the source.
