Our Actions
We actively support both People and the Environment.
Corporate Responsibility
Our vision is to actively contribute to a better tomorrow. Through initiatives that support society and protect the environment, social responsibility is a core pillar of our mission.
People
Rainbow Waters’ multifaceted social contribution focuses primarily on supporting the work of charitable organizations, vulnerable social groups, cultural and athletic associations, NGOs, and both local and broader community bodies—on both a medium- and long-term basis.
Enviroment
For Rainbow Waters, water is the reason for its existence.
That’s why respect for nature and water is a core principle that defines the company’s philosophy and drives all of its activities.
To reduce its carbon footprint—which directly affects the planet’s water reserves—Rainbow Waters has optimized its distribution system and successfully implemented a reusable water bottle management system, along with a bottle recycling program.
By reusing bottles, a tremendous amount of plastic is saved, which, if produced, would burden both the environment and water resources. Just consider the following:
- Producing a single plastic water bottle requires at least twice the amount of water that the bottle itself contains.
- For every 20 kg of CO₂ released into the atmosphere, one tree must be planted to absorb it.
Distribution System Optimization
We reduce CO₂ emissions by creating more efficient delivery routes. We have succeeded in reducing the number of delivery vehicles required by 18% and fuel consumption by 22%.
Resource Savings
- All electrical appliances we use have a minimum energy efficiency rating of A.
- We have minimized paper use in our offices (printing) through the introduction of intranet systems, email, and digital fax.
- In 2008, we adopted a specialized system to reduce and recycle water used for cleaning our delivery vehicles.

Employees
We have created and maintain a safe working environment, as evidenced by the presence of an occupational physician and safety technician on our company premises.
We implement lifelong learning programs and strengthen employee skills through ongoing internal training and seminars conducted by external consultants.
We have banned smoking in all workplace areas. Following findings by the World Health Organization that smoking kills one in ten adults and is the second leading cause of premature death, we implemented a total ban on smoking across all areas without exception.
